In Japan, although University and research institutes possess superior technologies, it is difficult to approach
the practical applications using them. Researchers tend not to create own business with their seeds
because they need to do not only research works but company works and do not want to involve taking risks.
We, TUP, would like to support the commercialization based on their technology.


日本では、大学や研究機関が優れた技術を有しているにも関わらず、事業化されることなく埋もれてしまっている現状があります。
これは、研究者がそれぞれのシーズごとに起業し事業化を行うにはリスクが伴うことが一因で、
さらに研究者にとっては、会社経営や資本政策など、本質ではないタスクが増えることになり、結果的には日の目を見ない技術が
増えてしまっているのです。
そこで、TUPでは、その埋もれたシーズを発掘し、さらにそのシーズを基にした実用化事業を行いたいと考えています。
